# Getting started

# Loading the app

To use snapshot on a desktop or laptop, navigate to the following URL:

https://snapshot.stratumfive.com

At the login screen, enter the login credentials you have been provided.

WARNING

If your credentials do not work please make sure you are entering them exactly as provided. Usernames contain no spaces and are case sensitive.

# Browser support

For the best experience we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome.

Snapshot has been developed to work on the following browsers:

  • Chrome 63 + (Recommended)
  • Firefox 61 +
  • Edge 18
  • Safari 11.1 +

WARNING

Snapshot may appear to "work" in browsers older than those listed above. We cannot guarantee we will receive reports from older browsers. Snapshot uses many cutting edge browser features and to get the best experience we recommend using an up to date version of Google Chrome.

# Firewall settings

If you intend to use Snapshot behind a firewall system you may need to get your IT department to whitelist Snapshot URLs.

The following URLs will need to be whitelisted for Snapshot to work correctly:

  • https://snapshot.stratumfive.com
  • https://snapshot-api.stratumfive.com
  • https://www.google-analytics.com
  • https://sentry.io

# Firewall IP whitelist

If Snapshot is being used on a vessel with a firewall that cannot whitelist domains but can only whitelist IP addresses, Snapshot must be accessed via a different URL.

https://snapshot-static.stratumfive.com/

You will then need to whitelist the following IP addresses:

  • 75.2.18.184
  • 99.83.175.44

WARNING

This is not our prefered way of accessing Snapshot. If possible please whitelist by domain and not IP address
