# Other Information

# The settings page

The settings page contains various settings and debugging functionality.

# Login section

Here users can see who is currently logged in with ability to logout should they need to.

# Data synchronisation duration

Although Snapshot is functional offline, it does require an internet connection to perform certain tasks and enable a full feature set. Updating content in the application to keep everything up to date is one of these tasks.

To do this Snapshot periodically checks for updates.

When you first log into Snapshot, we load in your previous submissions. By default, to save bandwidth and time we only load the previous 10 days of submissions. If you need to increase the number of days worth of historic submissions loaded enter the new value in the "Days to synchronise" input, and then click the "Update" button.

Changing this value will cause Snapshot to do a full re-sync. Please only attempt this if you have good internet.

If you are happy, click the "Update now" buttont that appears in the dialog window.

# Clear Application Data section

Snapshot makes use of local browser storage to store all kinds of data to make the application work seamlessly offline. From time to time it might become necessary to clear this data a make a fresh start.

WARNING

We advise that settings are used with caution and only when requested by StratumFive.

Types of Update

# Report versions

Snapshot makes it quick easy for admin users to update reports structure by adding, removing and updating fields, and changing the order of fields and groups.

Report versions are used to keep track of each updated version of a report to ensure that users are filling in the latest version of the report.

Sometime when you go to create a new report you may notice a notification at the top of screen informing you of a new report version. When you see it please click the button to switch to the latest version of the report.

# Online status

Snapshot can detect when it is offline or has a stable internet connection. To tell your online status you can view the online status icon in the top right of the screen.
